Tuesday 29th November 2011.

Today Lindsay went through what needs to be done now to complete everything. For me this is:

• Sketch front cover and contents page
• 10 questions for band/artist
• Photos to be taken of the artist(s)
• Interview to be done
• Place everything on my blog to run smoothly

Friday 18th November 2011.

Today we completed tasks 1-6 in our check books.
For me that was uploading my Publication Plan and finishing my anitated Contents Pages and Double Page spreads.

Wednesday 16th November 2011.

I wrote up conclusions to my results by my bar charts, then I uploaded it onto SlideShare.net. Once I did this, I linked it to my blog to upload it there.

Monday 14th November 2011.

Today we completed our Questionnaires and handed them out to about 20 people. (I did 18.) This was to find out about what people thought should be included in a Music Magazine, what they liked and disliked about them and how often then bought them. We asked people from the Wicked Cafe and the Crescent Cafe to fill them out and they did. We then tallied the charts.

Wednesday 9th November 2011.

We followed the check list, and carried on with reseach into other magazines of the same genre that we have chosen. This was for Front covers, Contents pages and Double page spreads.
We pointed out what features they all included to get an idea of what work needs to go into ours.

Tuesday 8th November 2011.

Today we started working on our Initial Ideas for our Music Magazine. This includes:

• Type of magazine
• Target audience

Also moving onto research from other magazines to help with ours - things such as:

• Prices
• Frequency of publication
• Issue size
• Regular content
• Feature articles

Monday 7th November 2011.

This lesson, Lindsay went through the Codes and Conventions of a double page spread in a music magazine with us. We then planned what we need to do to create our own music magazine. This includes:

• A questionnaire to find out what people want from a magazine
• Topics that would be included within the articles
• Design of the Front Cover and Contents Page
• Layout of all pages
• Small details - e.g prices, issue number, date, title.

We also are keeping up with the check sheet to find out where we're up to and what else needs to be done.
